This summer music festival brings in a number of big-name acts from both the US and abroad – that is to say, folks like Leon Russell, Jimbo Mathis, Billy Price, Peter Karp, Eric Lindell, John Mayall or even The Yardbirds. Food and souvenir vendors, kid-friendly areas and merchandise raffles combine to give the Pittsburgh Blues Festival wide popular appeal. Parking is free, and Friday admission is free for those who bring a bag of groceries to donate to the Pittsburgh Foodbank.
